Project Readiness
Writing strong answers is only part of a winning submission; you also need to be sure the response is actually complete. The Project Readiness Review checks your project against the things reviewers care about and tells you what is still missing before you submit.
Submission Readiness at a Glance
Every project workspace includes a Submission Readiness ledger. It shows:
- A verdict chip summarizing where the project stands.
- A set of rungs: individual checks that each pass or fail.
- A meter showing how many checks have passed out of the total.
- Run readiness review to run (or re-run) the check, and View last review to reopen the most recent results.
What the Review Checks
The Project Readiness Review looks across the project for gaps in areas such as:
- Completeness: questions or sections that still have no answer.
- Pricing: whether required pricing or labor-category coverage is present.
- Submission instructions: whether the submission requirements have been captured.
- Approvals: whether required internal reviews and approvals are done.
- Compliance and certifications: gaps against the compliance frameworks and certifications that apply to the opportunity.
When you run the review, Privata analyzes the current state of the project and updates the ledger. The checks read from live project data, so as you answer questions, close tasks, and add pricing, the rungs update to reflect the real state of the work.
From Gaps to Tasks
Readiness is not just a report; the review turns the gaps it finds into tasks on your project's task list, so the work needed to close each gap shows up where your team already tracks it. Compliance gaps and required reviews become tasks in the same way.
TIP
Run a readiness review early, not just at the end. Catching a missing pricing table or an unaddressed compliance requirement while you still have time is far easier than discovering it the day of submission.
Best Practices
- Run the review once you have a first draft, then again before you submit.
- Work the tasks the review creates rather than tracking gaps separately.
- Keep your Company Profile Settings current; the compliance and certification checks draw on them.
- Treat a passing verdict as a green light to move to final assembly and download.
What to Do Next
- Resolve open tasks created by the review.
- Finish and refine answers in the Response Editor.
- Assemble and download the completed response.
