Company Profile Settings
Company Profile Settings is where an Org Admin describes the company once so the rest of Privata works better everywhere. What you enter here powers opportunity matching in Bid Search, the compliance checks in readiness reviews, the labels available on projects, and your Approved Answers policy. Open it from Company Profile Settings on the Project Dashboard (Org Admins).
The page is organized into four tabs, each with a completion indicator so you can see what is filled in:
Company Identity
Your organization's basics: Company Name, Industry, and Business Type. This grounds the AI's understanding of who you are when it writes on your behalf.
Offerings & Capabilities
What your company sells and does: Products, Services & Offerings, Capability Areas, and Engagement Type. These populate the project labels you can apply to focus Knowledge Base retrieval, so keeping them current improves answer relevance across every project.
GovCon Profile
Your government-contracting profile: NAICS Codes, Set-Aside Eligibility, and Primary States of Performance. Bid Search uses this profile to match public SAM.gov opportunities to your company, and readiness/compliance checks use it to reason about eligibility. If a section does not apply to you, you can mark it not applicable.
Compliance & Review
Your compliance posture and internal review rules: Certifications & Registrations, a Review Mode, and the Required Review Areas your submissions must pass through. This tab also holds your company's Approved Answers policy (whether the approved pool is used and whether answers are added automatically).
- Certifications & Registrations feed the certification labels on projects and the compliance checks in the Project Readiness Review.
- Required Review Areas define the reviews (for example legal or technical) that become tasks on the right owner's list when a project needs them. (Reviews route to owners partly by the Expertise set in each user's Account Settings.)
- The Approved Answers policy is the company-wide default that individual projects can follow or override. See Approved Answers.
